Pit 118: Level 3

Completed on March 13, 2021 by Kim Masters, Jocelyn and DC Locke, Odess and David Brinkman. Level three gave us a nice colorful set of pottery. From expensive imported English pottery of the late 1700s, to stoneware from early and late Granby, and Native American pottery that may date to much older than that. As in level two, we also found a good number of charcoal pieces indicating human activity.

Pit 118: Level 3 produced: Seven pieces of pottery, 51 pieces of glass, six nails, nine Native American, 63 charcoal, seven iron, two slate, and eight slag.
