Pit 132: Level 2

Completed on September 25, 2021, by Kim and James Masters, Gary and Sue Kelly, Jocelyn and DC Locke, Odess and David Brinkman. In level two, we continued to find Native American pottery pieces as well as Granby artifacts and more clay pieces. But, we also found a good number of gravel and asphalt pieces. So, we still did not have an answer on if the clay might be from the Granby period. Odess put together another good lunch and Kim, Gary, and Sue also brought food and drinks. We took a lunch break after completing level two.

Pit 132: Level 2 produced: 3 kitchen pottery, 3 stoneware, 5 kitchen glass, 18 window glass, 6 nails, 1 pipe bowl piece, 16 Native American, 2 charcoal, 4 iron, 8 clay, and 4 slag.
