Pit 141: Level 3

Completed on Feb 21, 2022 by Kim Masters, DC Locke, Don and Evelyn Lester, Odess and David Brinkman. Just like pit 140, things picked up in level three and we got some really good finds. There were several pipe bowl pieces and a musket shot. A mostly flat round piece of leads seems most likely to have been a lead piece that was used to attach, in the center, four windo panes. We also found our largest bootle pieces of the dig: the entire top and neck of an 1809 green wine bottle. Also found was a bottle piece of probably a different green wine bottle glass.
