Pit 53: Level 2

Completed on November 10, 2013 by Jan Ciegler, Odess and David Brinkman, DC Locke, and Dean Hunt. More burned brick pieces (from the fireplace) were found in level 3. DC found several pipe pieces including the stem and base of a pipe. Overall, pretty good numbers for level 2.

Pit 53: Level 2 produced: 21 pieces of pottery, 29 pieces of glass, 10 nails, and 3 pipe pieces (2 stems from 1720-1750).
