Pit 103: Level 1

Completed on August 11, 2018, by Casiana Bacay, Jocelyn and DC Locke, Odess and David Brinkman. We moved back into the middle of the front yard in an area that is outside the main "hot-zone." Once again, we had large amounts of modern brick, concrete, and asphalt in level 1 but, still, some Granby period artifacts. The modern day items really slowdown the the dig process because each item has to be saved and cleaned before it can ruled out as a historical item.

Pit 103: Level 1 produced: Granby period: Three kitchen pottery, three kitchen glass, three imported English window glass, one nail, two iron pieces, and one bone. Native American: One pottery.
