Pit 117: Level 2

ompleted February 27, 2021 by Stephany North, DC Locke, Odess and David Brinkman. Level two continued with more Native American pieces and basic whiteware pottery and one stoneware piece. We also had a good number of kitchen glass pieces and a lowering number of window glass. The finds went along with the idea that we are moving away from the main house and closer to a storage building (which we think is in the direction of the river in the area we have already dug.

Pit 117: Level 2 produced: Eight pottery pieces, 16 glass, four nails, 13 Native American, one charcoal, and three iron.
